Life, to me, has always been about learning, growing and giving my best to every chapter that unfolds. Born and brought up in the vibrant city of New Delhi, I was blessed with a loving and supportive family that always believed in nurturing dreams and values. My childhood was filled with warmth, laughter and the spirit of togetherness – values that continue to guide me in both my personal and professional life.

From an early age, basketball was more than just a sport for me – it was my passion, my escape and my biggest teacher. The court became my second home, where I learned lessons of teamwork, discipline, perseverance and leadership. Representing my college up to the Zonal North level remains one of the most cherished memories of my youth. Every game taught me that success isn’t just about winning, but about the effort, consistency and sportsmanship you bring to the field – a lesson that still resonates deeply in my professional journey.

The turning point in my career came when I joined SpiceJet on 27th October 2021. Becoming a part of the Aviation Security Training Institute (ASTI) opened a new horizon for me – a world that combined precision, responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to a field I truly admire. Aviation security is not just a profession; it is a commitment to ensuring safety and excellence in one of the most dynamic industries in the world.

Over the years, SpiceJet has been more than just a workplace – it has been a platform for growth, learning and self-discovery. The environment here constantly motivates me to evolve, challenge my limits and explore new dimensions of professional development. The support and mentorship I have received have helped me grow not just as an employee, but as an individual with a deeper sense of purpose.

Among the milestones in my journey, two stand out proudly:

1. Spicestar Award (Jul–Sep 2023) – Receiving this award for my contributions in the administrative work of ASTI was a humbling experience. It reflected not just personal effort, but also the spirit of teamwork and dedication that defines our institute.
2. Certificate of Excellence for ICAO Audit (2024) – This recognition following a successful ICAO Audit in India was a proud moment that validated our commitment to maintaining international aviation safety and regulatory standards. It reaffirmed my passion for continuous improvement and my dedication to upholding the highest standards in aviation security.

Today, my current passion lies in expanding my knowledge in aviation security and contributing meaningfully to the growth of the organization and the industry as a whole. Every day brings a new learning experience, a new challenge and a new reason to give my best.

As I look back, I see a journey shaped by hard work, passion and gratitude — gratitude for my father, wife and son, who have been my pillars of strength and for SpiceJet, which gave me the wings to soar higher. The road ahead is long, but with every step, I continue to learn, evolve and strive for excellence – just like the game of basketball taught me years ago: Keep moving, keep improving and never stop playing your best game. 🏀✈️
